Annual EMBA@UW Program Conference: Global Strategic Challenges 2017
The Annual EMBA@UW Conference: Global Strategic Challenges 2017 took place on Thursday, November 30, 2017, at the New Technologies Center of the University of Warsaw, ul. Banacha 2c in Warsaw. Each year, it is one of the most important, substantive meetings of our alumnies. The conference presents the latest theories, methods and tools in the field of management and the challenges faced by the managers of companies.
This year, the conference was opened by a lecture entitled "Practice of the company's strategy. How to manage the past, deal with the present and create the future ", Prof. zw. dr hab. Krzysztof Obłój, founder and a long-term lecturer at our Executive MBA Program. Then Patryk Mikucki, Senior Director of Europe, Site Management & Monitoring, Global Clinical Operations AstraZeneca and a graduate of our Program and a long-term President of the Association of Alumni Executive MBA @ UW, shared his experience on the development of a successful career.
We also got acquainted with the best consulting projects prepared by the graduates of the Executive MBA@UW Program in the last year. Agnieszka Mielech, Marketing Director, Retail & Digital, Galapagos Sp. z o.o. told about the planned star-up - a time management project for children "CzasoZwierz. Everything in its time", and Zbigniew Lojt, p.o. at The Main Pharmaceutical Inspector presented a project entitled "Construction of a unified system of control of medical diagnostic laboratories". At the end of the meeting, Dr. Tomasz Ludwicki, Executive MBA @ UW UW Executive Director, took the floor and summed up the whole event.
