at The International Management Center, University of Warsaw

Recent advances in medical and organizational science have generated a compelling body of evidence that human health is related to organizational performance and organizational climate is related to both. To achieve and maintain peak performance, leading organizations have increasingly recognized the importance of creating healthful physical and psychological environments for employees. The development of these environments requires that leaders not only model behavior but also actively design work and support systems that transcend conventional approaches to performance management. The lecture will provide organizational leaders with the inspiration, ideas, and tools needed to accomplish this. Its speaker, prof. Marc Weinstein (Ph.D., Massachusetts Institute of Technology) is internationally recognized for his inter-disciplinary research in management and has published in leading journals in a broad range of fields including management, political science, occupational safety and health, and human genetics. Dr. Weinstein will lecture in English, but, depending on the preference of meeting participants, discussions may be led in Polish.
